Gamla Stan note cards
This area of Stockholmn is called Gamla Stan (Old Town). With its narrow cobblestone streets and unique boutiques, it's a must for tourists. The Royal Palace and Cathedral are also located here.

Dala horse note cards
The Dala horse (dalahäst) has become the national symbol of Sweden. These colorfully painted wooden horses, which were originally created out of scrap wood and given as toys, are still hand-crafted in the province of Dalarna.

Ljusterö note cards
This idyllic harbor is located on Ljusterö, an island off the east coast of Sweden, north of Stockholm. It is near Siarö, the island where Sweden's famous tenor, Jussi Björling, vacationed.

Rottneros note cards
This manor house in beautiful Rottneros Park (province of Värmland) was the inspiration for Ekeby in Selma Lagerlöf's Saga of Gösta Berling.

Sundborn mailboxes note cards
The province of Dalarna keeps closest to the folk traditions of Sweden. These painted mailboxes in Sundborn are typical of the region. Sundborn was also home to the famous Swedish folk artist Carl Larsson.

Stockholm waterfront note cards
Strandvägen (Beach Way) in Stockholm is known for its beautiful buildings facing the water. Stockholm is called the Venice of the North for its pictureque waterways.

Sundborn lakefront note cards
Picturesque Sundborn, Sweden, in Dalarna province, was home to famous Swedish artist Carl Larsson. The town is quaint and pretty and well worth the trip.

Storforsen note cards
Storforsen (The Great Rapids) is in the Älvsbyn municipality of Norrbotten province in northern Sweden. It is a spectacular series of waterfalls and rapids. This more peaceful scene shows just one of the many smaller side waterfalls.
